Microelectronics Workshop is held in South Korea

A 3-day workshop on Microelectronics was successfully held in South Korea.

The objective of this workshop is to get more than 60 key people involved in the ME business of Veolia to gather, exchange and share their respective experiences for this industry such as decarbonization, resources regeneration, depollution, innovative solutions, and next generation technologies to meet the evolving market needs and draw Veolia’s future as a champion of ecological transformation.

Specially on the second day, the participants took a great opportunity to visit the UPW system in SK hynix Icheon where we operate as a best practice.

The semiconductor market, one of Veolia’s main industrial sectors, plays a pivotal role in industrial business with a growing market value estimated at $472 bn in 2020 to reach $1,098 bn by 2030, according to a market analyst.

For the cross-fertilization purpose, it is the first time that we have this microelectronics market specific workshop with professionals from the US, Europe and across Asia, as well as cross-segments with colleagues from the waste, energy and water (operation and technology with WTS and VWT).
