In July 2023, Veolia Korea acquired DY Recycling, a waste recycling plant with waste sorting treatment and SRF production facilities.
VK aims to enhance the capabilities of this plant by expanding its sorting capacity from 4,000 t/y to 15,000 t/y and transforming the current manual sorting line to an automatic one, equipped with optical sorting machines.
A dedicated line for plastic waste will be installed as part of the initiative. This project will create synergy with our existing plastic recycling operations in Korea.
